Just received some details of the above event in which I have been invited to participate. Among the bands & musicians appearing are: Jez Lowe & The Bad Pennies, Pete Morton, Bram Taylor, Elbow Jane, Brass Tacks and Mark Dowling. There is an Old Time Music Hall with Jim Markey & Friends. A Barn Dance Workshop plus The Bury Pace Eggers. And lots, lots more! I shall be telling stories (and maybe including a little magic!)on the 10th. at The Community Hall and Ormskirk Parish Church Hall. I notice a pre-festival event is taking place at Aughton Village Hall, on May 15th. A concert by BERNARD WRIGLEY (affectionately known as ‘The Bolton Bullfrog’) – It is sure to be a sell out so if you are interested I suggest you book now!
